*** Wasatch Golf Course located in Midway, Utah is the site of one of the state's most popular 36-hole golf courses. ***

The course is approximately 18 miles from Peak's Hotel in Park City, Utah.

The Mountain Course at Wasatch Mountain State Park is a locals favorite near the Park City area, and is an all around fun golf experience. More of a nature preserve with a golf course is what the mountain course is like, as it winds up a mountain side and often encounters deer, elk and moose along the way.
The holes are well placed into the hill side and is playable for many skill levels, not many forced carries, but still a good test of golf for better golfers. With an up and down layout the golf course is a roller-coaster ride with demanding uphill holes, and towering downhill holes with tee shots that hang in the thin mountain air seemingly forever.
The entire layout is a wonderful golf and nature experience, and is one of the better golf values in the entire state of Utah. It's especially a treat in the Fall when the leaves change, as the mountain side lights of with reds, yellows and orange hues of leaves.

The Lake Course at Wasatch Mountain State Park is a favorite of many players locally and nationally. A state park that is well maintained, a solid layout, and virtually no homes anywhere on the golf course.

A classic routing with a nice selection of holes, keeping players hitting all of their clubs in the bag, and requiring to not only hit it long, but accurate as well. No hole particularly stands out as a signature hole, and the entire layout is quite solid all the way around, and a refreshing get away location with no hustle and bustle of any city life.

Park City is a unique combination of easy access and remote appeal. At times you feel like you're hundreds of miles from the civilized world…yet you're just 36 easy miles from Salt Lake City International Airport-an airport, we might mention, that plays host to 17 airlines and 962 daily scheduled flights. Park City's turn-of-the-century character, as established by silver miners of old, is alive and well. A simple stroll past the shops, galleries and restaurants on Historic Main Street is all it takes to bring back the romance of the Old West [Park City's History].

When it comes to cruising groomed trails, carving up a half-pipe, or cutting new powder, perfection is what everyone's after. Park City has three fantastic resorts-The Canyons Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort. Combined, these offer over 8,700 rideable acres, 322 trails, 46 lifts and "The Greatest Snow On Earth." And it all revolves around one of the most charming, historic and diverse old-west ski towns ever to make a name for itself. These resorts also have many summer activities.

With the completion of the Utah Winter Sports Park, now you too can experience the incredible speed and g-forces of bobsled or individual rocket sled rides on the Park's new 1,335 meter bob/luge track. Recreational rides are available winter and summer. Or you can simply watch the athletes train or compete at speeds up to 80 miles per hour.

If the truth were told, shopping would probably be right behind skiing and snowboarding in terms of popular activities. Park City's eclectic nature holds everything from hardware to sportswear, handcrafted furniture to designer boutiques. Also located in Kimball Junction are many shops and Factory Outlet Stores.

Park City's recreational opportunities are almost abundant as the snow that falls on the winter slopes. Of course, skiing and snowboarding are some of the main attractions, but you will also find quality opportunities in the summer to golf, bike, hike, horseback ride, fish, Hot Air Balloon Rides, boat, and enjoy the wildlife. Click here for additional amusements.

With all respect to Mother Nature, the mountains aren't the only works of art you'll find in Park City. There is also a surprising abundance of the handmade variety. We seem to be overflowing with art galleries, music, dance, theater and just about every other worthwhile pursuit that you might find enjoyable.

However you spend your days, Park City activities are sure to work up an appetite. Park City cuisine is as diverse as the terrain, with a standard of quality that matches the lofty elevation. The locals know Park City as Utah's premier dining destination. From casual burgers to elegant gourmet, Park City restaurants are known nationally for fine cuisine and outstanding service.

Park City's reputation as a party-town may be one of their best-kept secrets. The false belief that Utah is a dry state seems to perpetuate the myth that we roll up the sidewalks after dark. Hardly. The sidewalks are usually covered with revelers after dark, bouncing from restaurant to bar. If it's nightlife you want, it's alive and well in Park City.
